Biscotti di Prato

Biscotti are twice-baked cookies that are the perfect sweet with a cup of espresso or a glass of dessert wine after a great meal. There are all kinds out there these days, but these are the real deal: simple, authentic, good. It’s best to make this recipe on a dry day. If you’re going to serve the biscotti after a meal on a humid day, wait until just before serving to put them out. Dipping these in a cool glass of vin santo is definitely one of my favorite things.
